Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre
Alberta, Canada

Celebrates hunting techniques used by Natives for 6,000 years to stampede buffalo to their death. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981. One of the largest and best preserved buffalo jumps in North America. Tour guides are members of the Blackfoot Nation. The interpretive centre is built into the cliff and features displays on seven levels.

Open: Summer ( May 15 - Sept 14) 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Winter ( Sept 15 to May 14)  10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
