East Glacier, Montana, USA

This a small scenic community which serves as an entrance into Glacier Park. Year round access to West Glacier and Kalispell is available via Highway #2 through Marias Pass. Save some film for the natural mineral lick area which draws mountain goats to the roadside. SPECTACULAR! Travelers can easily visit the Blackfoot Indian Reservation which is located only a short distance from the Park.

Blackfoot Tours and Encampment - Learn about the history and heritage of the Blackfoot Nation on Blackfoot Historic Site tours. We offer both half and full day minibus tours, personally guided by a Blackfoot interpreter.

The Blackfoot Indian encampment is located in the heart of the Blackfoot Nation, in the rolling prairie grassland with commanding views of the Rocky Mountains. The teepee s are authentic Blackfoot designs, arranged in a traditional circle camp with the doorways facing East to greet Creator Sun. A dance and story telling arbor with communal fire pit provides for camp get-togethers.
