Remington-Alberta Carriage Centre - Enjoy life before the horseless carriage. This interpretive centre will whisk you back to the "horse and buggy" days! Enjoy a "Day at the Races", carriage making; harness a horse; circle the wagons at a prairie campfire, discover the elegance of the coachman driven Landau. Meet the quarter horses, Clydesdales, Canadians and Percherons that make up the horse herd or relax in a carriage and tour the grounds with an interpreter (summers only). One of the largest collections of horse-drawn vehicles in North America, where restoration of original horse-drawn vehicles is an ongoing process. Complimentary guided tours run on a regular schedule for the public.

C.O. Card Home and Museum - This is the original log cabin of Charles Ora Card - leader of the 40 Mormon families who immigrated here from Utah in 1887. The Museum is designated as a Provincial Historic Site. Open: June-August

Courthouse Museum and Archives - The longest used courthouse in Alberta was built of local stone quarried at the Cardston Stone Quarry.

Alberta Temple - This marble structure was the first Mormon temple located in Canada and features beautifully landscaped grounds. Visitor's centre offers films and pictures showing the interior of the temple. Location: 348 - 3rd Street., West

Police Outpost Provincial Park - Most southerly of Alberta's provincial parks, located on a small lake on the International Boundary near the mountains. A police outpost was set up in the area in 1891 to control smuggling.
