Photo Contest
Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada

Email us with your most unique, favourite, wildest, or most memorable picture that you took while you were visiting Waterton Lakes National Park. There are 4 categories:

•  landscapes and scenery

•  wildlife

•  funny moments

•  being active and park activities

• and of course we welcome all pictures of the Kilmorey Lodge and Aspen Village Inn. You may enter photographs in each categories if you like. If you are the lucky winner you will receive lunch for two in the award winning Lamp Post Dining Room and your picture will be highlighted on Waterton Park websites. (Please note that there will be a winner for each category)
  
  Guidelines:
  

• Enter as many pictures as you desire, however please only send one picture per email (Due to the serenity of Waterton Park we are not equipped with modern conveniences such as high speed internet access)

• Please ensure that your picture has been formatted to a size no greater than 500 x 500 pixels. If you do not have the necessary programs for formatting pictures, please follow our easy directions below.
• With the picture on your computer screen, left click the mouse
• Select Copy
• Open a file in Microsoft Paint, which can be found by clicking on the Accessories icon under Programs
• Click on Edit and then on Paste
• Your picture will then be in Paint format
• Under Image click on Stretch/Skew
• You can then reduce your picture size stretching it down (we have found that it works best if you decrease it to 10% of its original size)
• After your picture has been skewed you can change the size of the pixels
• Under Image click on Attributes
• Click on Pixels and then click on Default (this should set the pixels to 400 x 300)
• Your picture is then ready to be attached to an email and sent.
